The SolarArk Roof Ventilator SAV10W is part of the compact range and is completely solar powered and comes with a built-in thermostat which switches the fan on and off when the roof temperature is approximately 24 degrees. This SolarArk model moves up to 1122 m3/hr, making it a good solution for small roof spaces. Its poly fan blade makes less noise than fans with similar capabilities.
To get the best performance out of a SAV10W, install it on a North facing roof.

The SAV10 is an affordable cooling solution for roof spaces. Because its powered, the SAV10 extracts up to 11 times as much air as a traditional whirly bird.Unlike other powered fans, Solarark’s range costs nothing to run because they take advantage of solar energy. However, on the right sized roof, the results are excellent. During Summer months, the temperature inside roofs reach up as high as 70 degrees. Adding a solar powered roof fan can reduce temperatures by up to 30 degrees, which also reduces the temperature in the house’s living space.
