I thought I should let you know how very satisfied I am with the job you did here. David was very professional and efficient, the noise from the fam is almost in audible and, hopefully, the damp underfloor bits have been sorted.
I estimate that it lowers our house temperature around five to eight degrees. On top of this is keeps the indoor temperature and humidity constant with the conditions outside the house.
The vent product used are smart & unobtrusive, and I can see how effective they are going to be in creating airflow. Your installers were also terrific, courteous & professional helping to overcome the extra challenge or two that popped up that day thereby avoiding addiction expense and delay for everyone involved.
The subfloor ventilation that you installed does a great job, no more mouldy odours, the air is fresh and clean.
We have not had the misty smell since and are extremely happy with the works carried out, as in my regular pest control guy who tells me that the sub floor is a lot drier now since the fans have been installed.

The musty smell and the damp sheets (it was that bad), disappeared after only a day or so of the installation, which was an impressively speedy result.

Allan and I cannot tell you how much we appreciate what your ventilation system has done for us. I no longer have to wipe dry and clean all the windows in our home every day which has meant we are now mould free for the first time in 20 years since we moved in. As I mentioned to Martin when he was here on the install day I was recently diagnosed with lung disease, made worse by mould, and with this system breathing is so much easier. I also love that our home is now a lot warmer with a pretty constant temperature even on our coldest nights, so much so that we have not needed to use our heaters. We also wanted to say thank you to everyone for their professionalism and friendly assistance and how cleanly the job was completed.
Since we had Ultrafan installed, the damp has gone and you can really tell the difference in clean air in the affected room.
I always feel uncomfortable when I have to have tradesmen in my house to fix whatever. But the Xchange team, heck I’m thinking I may break something just so I can call them back! They’re really lovely people and made me feel really comfortable having them around. And I don’t think they left the tiniest piece of rubbish behind, impeccably tidy team. Just an awesome team to work with. They all really seemed dedicated and to take great pride in what they do. We first had the subfloor ventilation and subfloor insulation installed to combat the mould and moisture problem we had under the house that also had started to creep in to the house. The mould is now entirely gone and there’s not even minor smell left. We then installed the positive pressure ventilation because our house is a virtual ice cube and it was painful walking barefoot on our floors as well as the house just being plain freezing and the air cold and raw. After the positive pressure install we’re even comfortable during the night when the temps currently drop to 0 degrees. I can’t hear it, and it doesn’t stir up dust and irritate my asthmatic husband like normal rev cycle AC does. It’s just seamless. We’re very happy with both installs and would do it again if we ever bought another house.
The system has been up and running for just over a week. The atmosphere downstairs has completely changed. Over a period of about 5 days I watched the humidity levels downstairs drop and they are now very close to humidity levels upstairs. Also, the air temperature downstairs is warmer and the entire area no longer has a mouldy smell. Also, I would like to praise the work crew who did the installation. They worked quickly, efficiently and left no mess behind.
The fans installed beneath the home helped with the damp and musty smells and I must say that the speed in which we noticed a significant change to our home environment was amazing.
I just wanted to let you know that I have been really happy with your service and I would recommend your company to anyone needing your services. Your installer was amazing on Tuesday, he soldiered on and he was feeling quite sick then he was back the next day as he said he would and replaced the grill, great work ethics
Out of all three companies we received quotes from, my husband (who has a builders background) liked Martin’s explanation best. We also like your method (mould treatment) and the quality of products you use. Most of all we like to support a local family business. They are very professional, honest, friendly and flexible. It’s only been a few days since the installation of the sub floors and we have noticed the air quality has already improved.
